Agua Fresca
I made a delicious recipe using SPLENDA® Sweeteners as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #SplendaSweeties #SweetSwaps
Aqua Fresca  is a refreshing drink that can made with pretty much any fruit you can think of. It’s a light non-alcoholic beverage that will please your taste buds!

Are you all still alive or has the heat withered you away? We are in an awful heat wave and I can’t drink enough refreshing drinks like this Agua Fresca. In Spanish, it’s name says it all: “fresh water”. Agua Frescas are a traditional drink of any combo of fruit, cereal, seeds or flowers blended with sugar and water. There are lots of possibilities with this beverage, but I chose to use strawberries and pineapple. You can place the mixture through a sieve to get rid of the foam or you can pour it right into glasses and enjoy it as is, which is what I did.

I  swapped out the sugar for SPLENDA® Sugar Blend. You use half the amount as you would sugar and offers the sweetness of sugar, without all the calories! SPLENDA® Sweeteners is versatile, and can be used in baking, cooking, AND beverage mixing. It’s great for those watching their weight and diabetics.
