De@r husb@nd requested me to b@ke @ c@ke for him to bring to his office. Initi@lly he let me decide on wh@t I w@nn@ b@ke but next d@y, he c@me b@ck with the requested by his st@ff. They w@nt the b@n@n@ c@ke th@t I b@ked for them 1 ye@r @go when I just st@rted b@king. They still c@n remember how delicious this c@ke w@s even it h@d been @ ye@r @nd @lso @fter t@sted so m@ny of my b@king :).

Even though I w@nn@ explore @nd try new recipe but since the request c@me in, I just need to gr@nt their wish so I went @he@d to b@ke this b@n@n@ c@ke.

So coincident@lly, my brother @lso mentioned to me recently th@t this b@n@n@ c@ke is still his f@vourite. Hmmm... m@y be he is hinting me to b@ke one for him? hee hee hee...

For this time, I didn't pl@ce the slice b@n@n@s on top of the b@tter cos prob@bly due to the moisture of the b@n@n@ slices, the sm@ll @re@ of c@ke @round the b@n@n@ slices @lw@ys being too wet. I do not w@nn@ b@ke too long cos @fr@id might over b@ke the c@ke so just omit the deco of b@n@n@ slices to solve the problem.

I b@ked the c@kes into 2 c@ke tins, one for de@r husb@nd's office @nd one for own consumption.

Ingredients: 
( for one 8" x 3.5" x 3" & one 9" x 4" x 3")
250g s@lted butter
1 1/2 cups c@stor sug@r (I will reduce the sug@r depending on wh@t type of b@n@n@ th@t I used @nd how ripe the b@n@n@s @re, norm@lly 180g to 200g)
4 eggs
1 tsp v@nill@ essence
4 tbsp milk
1 1/2 cups m@shed b@n@n@ (@bout 3 del monte b@n@n@s, sometimes I put more)
2 cups pl@in flour (220g sift together with 1 tsp bic@rbon@te of sod@ @nd 1 tsp b@king powder)

Method:
1. Cre@m butter @nd sug@r in @ mixing bowl.
2. @dd in eggs, v@nill@ essence @nd milk @nd mix well.
3. @dd m@shed b@n@n@ into the mixture @nd mix well.
